Behind the Lens
Photography, travel and immersive experiences shaped by atmosphere, light and connection with place.

About Federico Antonello
Award-winning Italian landscape photographer, certified hiking guide and licensed tour leader, with the Dolomites as home and a deep connection to wild landscapes shaped by weather, light and the changing seasons.
My work is driven by the search for atmosphere rather than destinations — moments where fog, storms, soft light and changing conditions transform familiar landscapes into something truly memorable.
Through small group photography tours and private guided experiences in the Dolomites and Venice, every journey is carefully planned while remaining adaptable to the season, weather and the best available conditions.
I created OutdoorPhotoDream to bring together photography, outdoor exploration and meaningful travel, helping people experience extraordinary places at a slower pace and with a deeper connection to nature.
Photography Beyond The Destination
Landscape photography has never been just about reaching a location.
The most memorable moments often happen between destinations — following changing weather, waiting for the right light or simply slowing down long enough to experience a landscape beyond its iconic viewpoint.
Every journey begins with a carefully planned itinerary, yet nature always has the final word. Weather, light and seasonal conditions shape every experience, creating unique opportunities that no itinerary alone could ever guarantee.
Whether exploring the Dolomites, Venice or more distant destinations, photography becomes more than the final image — it becomes a way of observing, connecting with a place and creating memories that last long after the journey has ended.
