About The Area
Cinque Torri is one of the most iconic mountain landscapes in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites and one of the most rewarding destinations to experience during winter. Located near Cortina d’Ampezzo, this remarkable area is renowned for its distinctive rock towers, breathtaking panoramas and exceptional alpine scenery.
During winter, the landscape is transformed by snow, creating a magical setting where dramatic rock formations rise above white alpine meadows and frozen mountain terrain. A couple of years back, I came across an image of Santa Maddalena, Val di Funes. Well!! This was my first mountain adventure for both hiking and photography, and I was a bit nervous. However, Fed never made me feel that way during the whole trip. A thorough gentleman and a good human being. He was more of a friend than a tour guide. He was very polite and always answered our questions. He knows the Dolomites inside out and took us to breathtaking spots at the right time of the day. The accommodations were homely and very cosy.
